Chaotic Lamb Scramble

One of the things we do during lambing time is consolidate some of our ewes who have already lambed to allow for the remaining pregnant ewes to stay penned up together. So when we have about fifty ewes who have lambed and their lambs have been tagged, we move the group of fifty into one big pen. The whole process is a bit chaotic and noisy as lambs and ewes are trying to stay close and not lose track of each other. After a couple of hours in the pen, the sheep all seem to quiet down and things return to normal.
